Founder Story

I’m Alyssa Ancheta, M.A. in Special Education, and for more than a decade, I’ve dedicated my work to supporting individuals with disabilities across K–12 schools, adult transition programs, and community settings. Over the years, I’ve served as a Behavior Teacher Lead, Autism Specialist, Executive Function Coach, Safety-Care Crisis Prevention Trainer, ABA-trained practitioner, and Professional Development Facilitator—roles that have allowed me to support not only students, but also the families, educators, and teams who surround them.

My journey began with a simple, unwavering belief:
People with disabilities deserve a world that honors and accepts them exactly as they are.

I entered this field because I wanted to advocate—not just for the development of skills, but for dignity, respect, and authentic inclusion. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when a child, teen, or adult is given the tools and support they need to express themselves, build independence, regulate emotions, and step confidently into who they are.

But I’ve also seen the barriers: inaccessible systems, misunderstanding in neurotypical spaces, and environments that aren’t designed with every person in mind. These gaps are what inspired me to create Behavior Bridge Co.

Behavior Bridge Co. exists to bridge understanding, build skills, and transform environments. My approach blends evidence-based behavior strategies with compassion, practicality, and a whole-person perspective. Whether I’m developing a behavior intervention plan, offering executive function coaching, or training families, schools, or businesses, my goal is always the same: To create spaces where individuals with disabilities can thrive—and where they never feel they need to change who they are to belong.

This work is not just my profession; it’s my purpose. And I’m honored to walk alongside individuals, families, and communities to build a future where every person—of every ability—can be understood, supported, and fully valued.
